About
Background
I am an AI leader with roots in research, engineering, and mathematics.
I hold a PhD in Machine Learning Theory from the University of Illinois Chicago and a BS in Mathematics from MIT. My training in pure mathematics shapes how I think: building intuition from first principles and applying it to complex, real-world AI systems. I have honed my enterprise AI experience across industry, including roles at Salesforce, Intel, IBM Research, MITRE, and the Department of Defense.
Leadership
I am an award-winning technical people leader who leads high-performance AI research teams.
My leadership focuses on clarity of purpose, strong technical foundations, and environments where people can do their best work. Under my leadership, teams have produced 30+ research publications, 20+ patents, 20+ open-source repositories, and numerous enterprise product integrations.
Technical Clarity
I simplify complex systems to their core ideas, translating deep technical intuition into clarity executives can act on and technical teams can build from.
This clarity drives alignment, speed, and transformation.
“If I had more time, I would have written a shorter letter.”
— Blaise Pascal
